No, thats one game hour after getting to Ashbury.

 

Incredible, it takes that guy a whole hour to kick a dog to death!!!

 

He's only a weedy little gnome.

It takes a ten foot tall man made out of molten rock five enormously powerful double fisted swings to knock the dog out, so a gnome is going to have to spend a while at it.
A Female Halfling could be outside that tavern for months.

 

Uh, I searched Ashbury trough, where IS Dog? And is he a dog or a gnome, or a human, or what?

 

The first time you go to Ashbury there is a Gnome kicking a dog to death. They are on the far side of the hotel from the train. You have 1 game hour untill the dog dies. You have a little less than 24 game hours to resurect him.

It is posible the corpse will evaporate if you go into the castle or underground in the graveyard.

 

So you mean he actually IS a dog? How can you have a dog to follow you???

 

Be kind to it, feed it tasty treats like Ore Golems. Get the Gnome to stop kicking it. Dog eventualy becomes a mele master. He rocks.

 

Whats wrong with getting a dog to help you, you get a lizardman.

I think, although I never played it, it's a rip-off of fallout where you can get a daog as a follower.

 

i think having a dog as a follower is great. pets are just cool and when theyre awesome fighting pets, theyre even better. my friend absoultely loved the fact that he could get dog because he has wanted a dog all his life and has never had one.

 

I'd like one of these gorillas as pets

 

If you don't get to Dog in time, leave the worthless mutt corpse to go get a res scroll and come back and there is no body is dog lost forever? I did have to leave the city to get money to afford the scroll.

2) Please don't dig up old threads. It's considered a no-no around here. Don't ask why, just accept it and life will be easier.

3) If Dog's corpse is gone, so is Dog I'm afraid. Reload or save it for your next game.

 

But as long as the post is here; you have one game hour fron your first arival in Ashbury to get him alive. One game day to revive the corpse.

 

This topic is quite old, and has allready had its questions answered.

By the way as you see in these posts there are alot of folks that don't know dog is a great fighter and costs you nothing to have in your party.

Walking to Ashbury, when you arrive, just run straight up the street to the NE and you find this guy kicking this dog. Just talk to him and get him to leave the dog alone. Dog is probably unconcious but give him a fatigue potion and off you go.

I got dog later in the game for me but my next game hes gonna get added sooner
