Scared shitless???

i had started a new game, i was an elf mage with a high magickal alignment from the beginning since i used my 5 points all on spells, i was using harm to massacre those wolves around the corner from where you first get the choice to switch to worldmap, i finished the last one off, walked round the next corner and two wolves came running at me, i dont know what happened but my character and virgil turned around and ran up and over the hills and off the screen, i had to start again! :lol:

 

They were chasing after the wolves....all you had to do was click on the screen where you wanted them......

 

OK, so they ran OVER the hills and OFF the screen......... hmmm, i'm having a little trouble believing this one.....

 

seeing as they were running AWAY from the wolves in the opposite direction, it doesn't seem to me that they were chasing the wolves, go figure...

i understand where you are coming from i wouldn't beleive it either, but it happened, and it kind of confused me seeing as it was like my second game ever.

 

To get XP more quickly!

That early in the game I have Viril waiting as I kill the wolves. Then when I'm ready to level I add Virgil again to level up then let him wait again.

But one thing to do is before you fight the wolves or get to Arbalah, go to shrouded hills and get Sogg to join. Leave town any other way than NE and go back to crash site and finish stuff left undone. This way you have Virgil and Sogg the same level as you are throughout the game.

But I can see that sometimes my followers run off and leave me to fight something they see. I ususlly leave the turnbased option on so that the game halts when they get to something I can't see.

to level up faster whenever i get near a wolf or other unfreindly creature i simply press F5 (back off) and take care of them myself.

something i love doing is getting to arbalah, doing his quest so i get his blessing, and then killing him and telling brehgo woteva his name is that his quest is complete, u get x2 EXP

 

Hmm I normally try to NOT get too much experience at the Crash site. I prefer my folowers to be the same level as me, or at least not too far behind, and my favorite Sogg Mead Mug is only level 2...

 

sogg can usually level up to where i am anyway, i just let him have the occasional fight and tell virgil to back off, most of my followers catch me up a lot fighting stringy pete
