Have YOU actually looked at the site?

Frames on free webhosts =

    What?

You mean how there are all those ads? Well, don't sweat it. Just let it sit for a minute or two and they will go away.

No, I mean that two of the frames were 404, which meant you had two copies of the main Tripod page on the one screen.

    *checks again*

Yep, still two 404 errors on one page. High five!

    Here's what I see:

I know why: the site has frames inside of frames, which, by all scripting accounts, is "illegal". Netscape may not support it, but IE does.

If you wanna view the forums, just go straight to http://members.lycos.co.uk/vtp/phpBB.

changing text our background colour might be a nice thing too, dark red on black is not very easy to read.. I opt for changing text to a brighter red..

Wee, I'm a studded mace!

Whats your beef with virgil? I mean he's not that bad. I like his character development story and his heal spells help...

Dude, it's a gift from me to Notharah, the founder of the VTP community, not a torture for virgil. I helped him because he needed help.

I don't know, the whole thing seems a bit pointless, petty, and a total waste of time. Making it a running joke on message boards is one thing, but its own website?

I wonder how big this "VTP community" could be anyway.

It USED to be large, if you would check the website, but then most of the members were regulators and left before the site was finished.

If it doesn't work with Netscape, it's not worth my time. :)

Well, I only use IE, and don't test with Netscape. I doesn't work, however, because, in the original design that Notty's OTHER friend used to create the site, there are frames inside frames, which is illegal JavaScript, as far as browsers go.
Uh-huh. The common posters around here. (i.e. Milo, Fatman, Rosenshyne, etc.).

Regulars. Regulars. A regulator is a person or thing who enforces rules and regulations and/or ensures the proper working of devices, such as clocks and meters.

I didn't know anyone else talked like Lukan the Witless besides President Bush, Jr.

Nick, the individuals you cited for your examples of "regulars" may not have been the best choice. It's been quite some time for both Milo and SF, with the exception of a few random posts, not to mention Rosenshyne who hasn't been seen here in upwards of six months. Do stop trying to confuse people with your answers. :p

You mean he writes like that with the express purpose of trying to make my hair turn grey and fall out? And that his vocabularity is, in fact, much better than it appears?
