Amulet of M. Hand- Later in a game?

Hi all, I´m having a serious problem getting to tseng´Ang. Now Im level 62 and I finished lot of arcanum minor quest. In the main plot I cannot get to the city of dark elves, because I dont have amulet of Molochean hand.
Is there a posibility to obtain one? I tried to buy ´em back where I sold ´em earlier int the game, but its not posible. I tried to find them elsewhere (pickpocket or so) but no one seems to have it. I´m getting mad about that! Is there an editor where its posible to cheat it? Or is there another way?

I'd wish there were an object editor for Arcanum!! Ahh...

But no. If you don't have any, and the guys in the Shrouded Hills Inn there aren't there anymore, just start wandering around in the Worldmap, eventually (always during the day) you might have an encounter with the Molochean Hand assasins... there, kill 'em and take an amulet.

There's another way... did you see Bingham Schulefest? The dwarf at the cemetery in Caladon, he's from the Molochean Hand... you can steal the amulet from him.

 

talking to random people in bars and telling them who you are could reveal one of them to be an assassin. im not sure if these guys carry the amulets though.

 

He IS?! Good lord, I thought he was just Malcolm's, er, Magnus' neighbor. I'll have to go check on him next time I'm in Caladon....

 

Yep, he is. Those people in bars will pick a fight with you no matter what (eg: Betrayal of Gilbert Bates, on Tarantian Newspaper, Bar Fight, etc) and they don't have an Amulet. For the record Vollinger doesn't either.

 

Vollinger doesn't have an amulet because he's a spy... it wouldn't be very smart to try to fool you into thinking he's another NPC if he has the Molochean Hand amulet.

The guys in pubs are sometimes from the Hand, but other times they just want to kick your arse for no apparent reason if you talk to them... so then they don't have the amulet, because they aren't from the Hand at all! I didn't suggest that to McBlacky because he said he has lvl 62 and I'm guessing he killed them all, already.

Betraying Bates won't attract the Hand to you, those are just bounty hunters, not Molocheans (and they're better armed than the Hand assasins).

As for Bingham, if you have Malcom Schulefest in your party, and you menace Bingham with attacking him, Malcom will side with him for attacking a dwarf brother.

Thanks for help I got amulet from Birhanm at Caladon, It helped me much, because I also tried to encounter random Molochean outside towns, but game seems to generate an encounter with ´em only after completing some main plot quests and only once, maybe not and I just didnt have enough luck. Socalled molochean at pubs I tried at first, its strange that they want to kill you -saying they are Molocheans- and apparently they are not, this is maybe a bug or a strange intention from creators.

The ones in pubs, in the patched game, have amulets when they are from the Hand, & don't when they are just bullies or lechers.

 

Eh, yeah but be careful... the guards at the graveyard do support HIM in a fight.. he is a lawful cittzien to them, all in all, heh.
