Fan-Made patch?

Hey, I have been playing a great 17th level Dwarven character who is ungifted in the non gun or craft oriented arts.
I am in the Wheel Clan, I talked to the young king but I still cannot get into the frekin Dredge.
Is there some sort of fan made patch on this subject?

 

??? if you talk to Loghaire's son enough, he'll give you a shortcut, and voila!!, theres Loghaire. that simple, when talking to the son, say his anger is hollow, that'll do it.

 

Maybe he hasn't enough Persuasion... 3 I think.

You should always be able to get into the Dredge. Either you're good in persuasion and the young king shows you a passage under the throne, or you get the permission to go into the Dredge. Its part of the main quest, isn't it? You can't not get it.

 

Some have had to kill a guard to get in. Remember, brute force & ignorance often succed where IN, CH, & persuasion fail.

I am roleplaying a Good oriented Tech-Dwarf.
I should not have to go to this extreme.
Okay, I already talked to him- can I still do it? I just got alot of phat lewt and do not want to start from the first time I meet logharie.
Also, do I have to bump up my persuasion?

 

IN is needed for the shape & stome phliosphy stuff to get Loghare out. CH is needed to get the passage under the throne. Prehaps presuasion. You will need to go back to the conversation with the King - in - waiting. I think that getting the secret passage is a one shot thing. You don't have Knock Out Gas or the Tranqulizer Gun, do you?

I realoded, and am going throug Dredge.
Quite easy. I just shoot with Sniper, and my two charged rings carry me to saftey with high dexterity.
Also, I am thinking of going into armory, but can I make smaller armor?
Specifically small Steam Powerd armor?

 

Any learned schematic for armor can be made in any size. Just start with thw right size base part. & don't have normal size in your inventory unless you are building it up too, as regular is the default & it will get built first.

I am not sure the the Machined Plate works. There is a mod that says that it makes it work. IE, raise your strength. Besieds, Small Machined Plate is easy to find. Just sell Bates' journal to Appelby.

 

May I ask for a link to the mod?
