So I finnally reinstalled Arcanum

After about a year of no arcanum, I'm back.


Anyway seeing as there is still a community here I'd just like to pop in and ask if theres been anything interesting that happend?

like..

Did they ever improve multiplayer?

Any good mods?

And much much more!

 

Multiplayer still sucks

Theres a mod on the terra-arcanum home/news page a few topics down... not really a mod but it adds a lot to the old game

New patch 1.0.7.4 wich helps A LOT

1.7.0.4 isn't exactly new...

Also I was playing the game normally then all of a sudden the textures became blured and funky looking. When I reload after exiting arcanum and becomes fine but are there any fixes for this?

The fix for that is a HOT video card. & even that might not help if something bounces up & folds your game.

 

Whoah! We've got a real people coming back from the Void series over the past few weeks/months. Welcome back ArchAngel - you're the very first person to have answered my post at this here forum iirc.

Community is still here, as you noticed, and doing fine. Nothing really new for Arcanum though. There were two really good mods coming up (Deep 15 and White Sands) unfortunately due to problems related to the Editor they never actually made it.

 

??? What about Chris Beedoes' mod? (Pardon the spelling, Chris.)

 

Oh yeah right - though I'd much rather play Deep15 or White Sands. Too many pure hack'n'slash locations in Chris' mod.
