Two "critical hit"s problem

Once my lv37 gunner attacking a small spider and it made a critical hit on me and I died :dead: !!!

The second time iwas attacking a small rat and a critical hit from it made my beauty -1(8-1=7) uch: !!!!!

does anyone got these "S-H-I-T-T-Y" :evil: problems?

 

yeah, the negative beuty thing, you can rid that by using bandages on yourself, and the crit hit, well, it was a lucky shot I guess

Unless you did that already invest in DX and Dodge (it's really good if your techie will have dx20 and dodge mastery). This won't make you invincible but at least rats won't beat you.

 

scars can be healed by healers such as doc roberts for roughly 100 gold

 

I almost never get scarred anymore. I used to when I first got Arcanum, but havent in months!

 

:realmad: That traitorous, oath breaking bastard, Torian Kel sided with Khergan in the final battle and managed to scar me twice in a row! I was a Dodge Master with 20 dex and he was but a melee expert.

 

One more thing about healing scars, broken limbs, etc. From my experience they can be all healed with bandages however if you seek magic healing they will only be healed by major healing spell. Minor healing spell will restore your hp but it'll leave scars untouched.

Sorry if i'm reviving an old topic, but I went to doc roberts to try and heal my scar, BUT the option of healing never came up. Do I have to injured too, or does the fact that I stole his first aid stuff and sold if off early in the game have anything to do with it?

Yeah, i made the exact same mistake... just go to some other healer or have virgil cast major heal over and over...

Go to the herbalist - she'll heal you.

 

As for the Critical Hit, that was a lucky spider! It said just Critical Hit? Those are the ones that kill you with one hit! Not like when it says crit hit damage +x% xHT xFT. Worthless Mutt once died because the big Crystal Dread Spider in the Wheel Clan made a crit hit on him... and once he failed critically and died! I'm glad there's no Luck stat like in Fallout.

 

there is.... if you have 20intelligence you get a 10% better chance to succeed in all skillz.
