I can't seem to sell anything. I get what I thought was good loot through the Mine, only to return to Tarent and find that I can't sell much of anything besides the gems. Anyone know where to sell armor and weapons at a decent price?
well shops will only take stuff they believe they can sell, so to speak that is a magical shop might buy magical items, of the kind they sell etc etc anyway shrouded hills is a pretty good place to sell items i hear general stores are also better then most others but the best way of all is to get some haggle skill anyway, i can't pin point the store, but i hear that there is a store in TARANT that will actually buy most items you have to sell. i just don't know where myself. but perhaps some gentle soul can answer that question. personally i'm guessing on the general store.
Hit the junk dealers in any town. They will buy nearly anything you can unload. Prices are subpar, though...that's your compromise. If you have expert haggle, sell anything you have to the magesmith in tarant. That boy pays the best prices.
There's a really nice junk dealer in Tarant on the edge of the docks. He has a Half-Ogre guard with him. He'll buy just about anything you care to sell him. In fact, he's my go-to guy in the game. After I hit a tomb in the wilderness, I head straight to that guy. Meltdown is also correct about the Haggle Expert thing. Not only can you get things cheaper and sell things for more, but you can sell almost anything to anyone. It's an excellent thing to develop, at least to level 3 and get the Expert Training.
you can sell most magical swords aor armors to the blacksmith in tarant, the rings and nice gems should go to tailor shops, but the things like the mnura coin that I can't find anywhere to sell go to the scrapyard. But I have to say it's a steal the guy buys it for 60 then sells it for 700. I almost feel sorry I have to sell items there. And what's with them why are they selling rags or coal if you can search trash?
of course there are magicla blacksmiths and normal blacksmiths but after a while if you don't become a specialist in magic or tech they don't let you in to one of them
Great! Thanks all.. I gotta find that other guy in Tarent. I read another post where the author thought this game was biased towards mages but I disagree. I'm already shut out of the subway thing in Tarent and now it looks like I might get shut out of the good armor too in a couple levels. The whole magic-tech bias is interesting and all, but I never have liked systems that lock out parts of a game. You should at least be able to use everything.
