Here is the deal with the dog

When you first find him he is being kicked by a gnome who's lunch was stolen by him.

Talk with him and there are a large amount of ways to get him to stop.

This Includes killing him, scaring him off, saying that it's wrong (this makes him mock you), or paying for the food, 55 coin.

 

Um, well, not that I want to discourage you but we know that. The only problem people have with getting the Dog in their party is to find him for the first time you enter Ashbury. Especially when you don't know he's there.

Keep trying though - perhaps you'll just find out something we don't know about.

 

A good way for people who haven't been to Ashbury before is to save when you get there, look around until you find his corpse, load and find him again.

 

OK... Well, where is he? Becuase I am now 100% sure his corpse has decayed by now, since I am after the K'sen-Ang thing, and I went to Ashbury before the ISle of Despair... Eheh...

Anyway, I might take him with the next char I make...

And anyway, I'm pretty pissed that my favorites in the game thinks I'm too good, with 90 to 100 good alignment all the time without trying to keep it up

i believe you have to be patched in order to resurrect him. correct me if im wrong

 

Can't say, I have never played unpatched.

 

I played like Half Tarant until I patched... I didn't really see the differences... Except the bug with that stupid gnome who owes Madam Lil...

 

Magnus will not rejoin you in the unpatched game. The LGR is just awesome. I have heard there are several other big things.

Got him and Virgil, and 4 Charisma

 

A fighting machine, a healer & you. I can't see a need for much more.

 

more peeps to carry more stuff, I am a pack rat myself. Sure wish they put a luggage rack on those darn automaton's

 

I think that Chris Beedoes' new mod includes both tech & magic pack mules.

i don`t know why but magnus allways rejoins me (and i am unpatched for that gnome`s money;-)...might it be that german version doesn`t have that problem?
