I got my 1st one from finding out who the ring belongs to from the merchant in Shrouded Hills. 2nd one from the Necromancers. And now I went to Isle of Depair and back, and haven't got any more fate points. I know that if you don't do things right, you can miss the fate point. So have I been doing things wrong? Cos I thing I'm quite a few steps from the Necromancers in Tarant.

BTW, I need the goggles to see the Wheel Clan entrance but forgot to steal one off Thorvald. And the game has given me absolutely no clue as to where to find another one.

You get a fate point for the first quest started by conversation with a ghost in a cave at the Zeppelin crash spot. I don't remember all of them but I think that as a good, high IN character I gathered ~8 (maybe more) throughout the game.

Goggles - go to the optician in Ashbury and place your order. You have to give him Kathorn Crystal and 1000gold.

You can also get fate points from:

Entering Gilbert Bate's estate from the underground passage.

    Killing Gilbert Bates

Stealing Gilbert Bates's Journal and giving it to Cedric Appleby

    3:)

Way back in Shrouded hills, con Lucian out of the way or kill him, one each. Do both, get two.

    Free Gar.

Steal the golden statue WITHOUT killing anyone. (You can go back & kill them later.)

Ah yes, quite a fun quest this is. I was able to do it with expert prowling and I also looted all the goodies with the help of my trusty colck work decoys. 0:)

Well I count 9 fate points so far but to be honest I dont remember getting all of them on one save. I think some are only available to certain characters 3:)

K... then something is seriously wrong.

I've done the crash site ghost quest 100 times. Never got a fate point out of it.

Same with conning Lucian/ killing him.

    crash site fate point

to get the fate pt from the ghost at the crash site, you need to let the robed guy (forget name) live, go back to the crash site cave, get location of other guilty party's house, go there, talk him out of the artifact and return it to robed guy.

    There isn't one there.

There should be one there. I ALWAYS get two, first for getting the thieve's guild info, then for killing him.

Never got one for that. I always had to go back with some persuasion to talk to him with & help to kill him with. Then I got the points.

Ok, all but 1 of these are only up to Gilbert Bates. What about from GB to Quitarra? I can't believe I missed every single one of them.

There's one for selling the Bedokan out to the poachers, but their alter shuts down after you do that.
