Need Help

Please Help me!!

I was fighting some mosters and i was dying, then i was going to quick load, but instead i quicksaved, and 1 sec after i got killed. my other saved games are so old that i dont want to start all over again.

What can i do?? is there someone who can help me?

You could look around for a save game editor. Maybe someone took the time to code one since the last time I played which was a long time ago.

Or if there are any potions or healing spells in your quickslots, you can try reloading and the immediately hitting the quick key to get some health back. Then run away.

On a side note - why the hell do developers put the quicksave and quickload buttons near each other? Why is it always "F5" and "F6" (as an example) rather than "F1" and "F12"? This has got to be my biggest pet peeve regarding key maps.

 

There's a savegame editor somewhere that's been around in some form since the demo but I couldn't say where it was anymore or even if its still there

Well, quick saving and quick loading is a good thing, if you can do it right. Quicksave and Quickload all you want, BUT be sure you save your game independantly on occasion.

 

I have also been in the same situation several times. Heres what i did:

Place my ever faithful piece of Dynamite down put combat in real time, run away then run back so you time juuuuust right so that the enemy gets enflamed and dies

Load the game up until they miss, and I hit. Save the game and repeat the process until you have overcome ALL odds of winning 3

When all else fails, carry a Scroll of Exiting.

 

A good plan sir, with just 2 minor drawbacks- One, I didn't have a scroll of exiting an 2, I didn't have a scroll of exiting. Now I realise they are both the same point but I felt it so important I said it twice.

Seriously tho, exit scrolls are a very good idea but what happens when you get ambushed on the world map? Can you still use them? If so where would you ''exit'' to ? 3

I didnt find any way out of the problem so i just started over again. was a really good game and a very very fun one, couldnt stop playing, but then my mothercard died so everything is kinda &(/&%&¤#¤ now.
