The boy in Shrouded Hills

There's this boy who I can give the ring to, but if I give it to him he'll attack me and I won't get the ring back or something like that.

So should I give it to him or not?

I watched the opening movie but I didn't catch everythng the gnome says.

 

That's not the boy the dying guy meant. Don't give that guy the ring...

 

It doesn't matter if you give it to him. He'll still attack you, so you can loot it back.

BTW, did you know that if you kill the halfling while he's still within Shrouded Hills, a different assassin will spawn instead?

 

Yes I knew that, its a human as opposed to a halfling.

 

Is it legal to kill him there?

 

No, but there are ways to avoid the law.

 

I killed "William Radcliffe" there and the guards didn't attack me! Hmm..

 

Neat, an extra kill early in the game. Must remember that.

 

yeah, and I don't think it affect your alignment either...
