I have been contemplateing my characters life and have always hit the same roadblock...How can I summon a cool familiar and have tech? Well, I think I may have a 50% idea. At what aptitudes does the level of the familiar change? Is it something like 25, 50, 75?? Or 10, 20 ,30 ,40, etc?? You see, since I want a strong familiar but not bad faction with tech people I need to somehow keep my magic aptitude from getting to high, but I still need that cool familiar. Thanks! P.S. If anyone here can make an edit where summons are always max no matter what aptitude, Im still open to the idea!!!
Its not just the level, its the type of familiar that gets better. The best is a Blood Claw. If you can edit your charcter, try edit to 100% MA, summon, re-edit back to where it was. Don't know if it will work, but worth a try.
What savegame editors for Arcanum are there? Also, if you can find a solution to my problem in my post on the general forum... I'd give you a good party strategy.
Ok then.. Ok then, let me rephrase my question... How high magickal aptitude do you need to be to summon a familiar blood claw or whatever? If anyone knows what .mes file I can go into to change the aptitude requirement please tell me. So far I have been looking into the unique.mes and the SpellList.mes. SpellList.mes looks more promising, but I cant find a field to edit familiar type. Thanks a bunch!! (Again)
