Gorgoth Pass

:x :x :x how do i get the gorgoth pass on my map

 

I don't recall anyone giving exact location of the pass so it should be found by yourself. Knowing the coordinants makes it much easier though as you have to be almost in the very right spot for the pass tp appear on world map. A very important thing: the first time you approach it you have to be coming from West (Caladon side of mountains if you prefer). I list coordinants a bit lower in case you don't want to use them

gorgoth pass is the one leading into the glimmering forest right? i believe that i found it when i gave the stillwater giant pelt to myrth in order to find quintarra

 

You're wrong, that's Hardin's Pass. Gorgoth Pass, as I already wrote in the southern one.

 

Well, I have managed to get to Gorgoth Pass on the Dernholm side of the mountains. While I could not reach it via the world map, I went as close to the mountains as I could in the area its supposed to be in and simply ran along the mountains until I saw the brightly colored plants and I entered. Try going through that pass at level 13, you'll come out level 18

hmmmm im in Caladon right now would it be posible to go to tarant and the come back through gorgoth pass. Silly me i frgot the shovel and i cant find one in Caladon and i dont wanna pay another 1400 smacks to get back an forth by boat . im not very rich thisgam :cry: :cry: :cry:

 

Take the boat to Tarant and at the Tarantian docks talk to the Junk dealer. He'll sell you one for FAR less that 1,400.
Then take the same boat back to Caladon and continue.


You can deposit the difference in my account.

 

There are stealable shovels all over Caladon. You can even bribe the Dwarf in the graveyard into giving you his shovel (the only named shovel in the game, colectors take note) & looking the other way when you dig.

 

That 1400 was for ship trip both ways not for the shovel.

 

Then while in Caladon, go to the cementery and in one of the two "eastern" towers that face the Paranni temple, there is a shovel in hiding in one of the chests.

Be caureful when you get it, though.
There is a major bug in the game by which guards who are close to you, even if separated by a brick wall, will attack you if you steal.
