Need help w/ Ashbury Cemetary!

Well. I need help beating the Gore Guard and his friends in the bottom of the cemetery. My guy is a lvl 15 Gunslinger w/ Expert Firearms and a trustworthy Rifle with a backup Revolver. My followers are Dog and Geoffrey, both of which just joined me (Virgil got ripped up by a Grizzly Bear).

So any tips on how I can beat the annoying Gore Guard? He keeps riping me and my friends into pieces.

 

Go down to the wise lady and get a speed potion or two. Feed one to Dog and sick him on the main bad guy. Stick with him in case you have to heal him. If you start getting your ass kicked, then run. Dog will most likely be able to handle the boss guy by himself. When he's done, go in and mop up the rest of the guys.

unless you're a gun purist, go out, level up once, put it into explosives (molotave cocktails rule!). Even if you have no throwing and can't hit a thing, they dont take movement points to throw! So buy/steal the fuel, rags are everywhere in waste bins. Go in, and become this spout of flaming death. the explosiveness will hurl the creatures back with every attack!

All in all, Virgil does have a couple of good points. He will follow you whether you're good or bad, he can pack a lot of stuff for you, AND, save you gold....if you don't want to spend it on Belle, there's always Virgil!!

Don't think he saves you gold. When you sleep he steals some of your gold and goes to Belle OR:

Besides, I guess having all that gold, and not a whole lot to spend it on, Belle might be just as rewarding! :wink:

easy become evil and get the wizard guy to join you by asking him to work with you on this together, he will help you kill the gore guard

 

you need persuasion for that... not everyone has got that...

i havent axed virgil yet because while sodd is cool, i prefer not to be traveling in the wilderness with only 4 potions and a level 3 half ogre, heres to ditching him later on.....prbly after i get whichever follower i can after magnus.... then virgil :minigun:
