my first posted topic, I did this once on a Fallout fourm and I thought I'd try it here, what, it can be more than one, are some the the funniest things you've seen in Arcanum? conversations? just random crap, anything funny!

 

One of the funny things on Arcanum is this: have you noticed when you attack Retezze, he screams like a girl. I got a good laugh out of that. Also, when u go to Madam Lil's and pick the sheep... that looks kinda funny.

Ferret, they did and it wasn't before the crash. I remember it. It's somewhere around here(I think).

 

This Was more circumstance humor than anything else, but...

I was down in the cemetary of Ashbury, with Virgil, Magnus, and the Dog. I wanted to pick this one item up, and unfortunately the invetnory was full. Suddenly all these zombies popped up, and so i thought it would be neat to just hurl random crap from my inventory at them. So I lobbed a Tarantian Newspaper. It did NOT go through Virgil like my Chakram usually does, and instead smacked him, dealing like 1HP damage. He blew it completely out of proportion, dropped to negative 1000 reaction, and began to attack me! It was just kinda funny--I can beat him to death by accident wityh a weapon, but man, touch him funny with a NEWSPAPER...

 

We'll just call it a newspaper fetish...

 

I am going to make myself a better signature anyway... that thing WAS way too big, huh?

 

It was kinda funny in the battle with Mrs Shalmo, the master thrower. I was a gunslinger and insulted her so she started chucking throwing knives at me. I dodged them all by running around the bar then I ran out. She tossed her Chakram to hit me but I just runned around and she just stands there like an idiot waiting for her weapon to come back. So...

The funniest thing...... I suppose that pickpocket master quest in which you must run naked all across city and people insult you.

When you meet Magnus for the first time just listen to that funny conversation between Virgil and Magnus..

Try to play with character with int 1. You'll die because of laughing.

Virgil: uhu.
Dumbass: yuo stooooopid.
Virgil: Meeeeeeeeeeeee knaaaaaaaaaauw yyyyyt (sticks out his tongue)
Dumbass: yuo baaaaaaaaad. *throws Virgil into a wolf cavern*
Virgil: babye!
Dumbass: fak yoooooooo!

 

Actually my funniest moment had to have been going through the Vendigroth Ruins. Whenever I clicked to attack an Automaton, it just compressed into carrying form. I stood around for about a minute just waiting for the first one to get back up, and by the time I left Vendigroth, I had about 4 of em following me. The void was never so easy! :minigun:

 

I've tried clicking on the arachnids and automatons, hoping for the "fold-up", but they end up attacking.....do you need high "tech" skill for this, or can you do it as a "mage" too??

Yeah....that is COOL! I have a half-orge which is raised by pits. So funny, but a GREAT warrior! :lol:
