hi. What do I do with all the items that I have? Lots of them, I don't even know what to do with them. I have coal, steel, filaments, some flowers, roots, rags, pipes, gears, music boxes, a camera, containers of some powders and liquids. I'm playing a mage, so is there any place I can simply just sell this junk? Do i need any of it? I keep storing it away in a chest in Blackroot.
I also notice things were hard to sell. What things in the game I should be selling? I'm really low on money and I could use some more...
keep the camra, you need it later, unless you put points in the barter skill, all you can really sell is guns and armour and weapons, the junk dealer in Tarant will buy most anything
the barter skill affects priceing, getting trained in barter will allow you to sell some of the things people dont normaly buy, and buy things they dont normally sell, like the things they are holding on there person, but some things you cant ever sell.....like coal I think
Coal you can sell,(WOW, 5 coins!) but you can't sell the rags, or any charcoal you have. Try to sell the stuff if your THAT short on $$, but if the Tarant guy won't buy it, no one will. The just happens to be a rubbish bin across the street from the guy. How Convenient! Oh, and don't get rid of the camera. That comes in really handy later in the game.
stuff A lot of that stuff is used if you get the scrolls on how to make things (like bullets, pure ore, etc.) But early in the game, I'd sell what I could, store the stuff I couldn't (maybe come back later). Don't leave it where someone will walk over it (did that with a piece of Dread armor & the jerk I was bartering with took it - luckiinly I'd just saved so reloaded & handled it differently (the reason - I got a better price when I didn't have the Dread armor on - just nasty comments about my state of unress!)
Well, if you're gonna wear Dread Armor, I'd suggest getting a Smoking Jacket for in town. It boosts you reaction, so they like you more and give you better prices.
what do you need the camara for later on? which set of clothes for a man gives you the best reaction and where do you get it? thanks
you need the camra as part of a quest, and I think the best suit is the smokeing jacket, it give like a plus 20 to reaction
Yeah, I haven't seen anything better than the Smoking Jacket, and you can buy those in the Tarant Tailor shop. You might be able to get it elseware, but all I know is that the Tarant one sells the jacket in all sizes.
i got the smoking jacket in tarnat. i gave the camra to rizztee to find tarant cuz i didnt want to go do the bessie toone thing, but it was fairly simple to snatch his key and get it back
