Even somebody (like me) who sometimes finds violence a little humorous or entertaining... that is just sick. The worst I would EVER do is pick the cat up in my arms and just spin around a few times and watch it run off.

 

But, surely, you can think of all that, just like Vyaas did. No one actually thought of this seriously... right?

Actually, 98% of cats LOVE water, and they are fantastic swimmers - they'll thrash the pants of a dog in water any day! It tends to be only coddled housecats that don't like water, and usually only pure-breeds at that.

Also, what Rosie said about the whiskers is true - They're linked to a cats sense of balance, just like their tails. Removing either really screws the cat up and it has to be taught to walk again (a bit like removing your big toes).

 

my first cat got hit by a car and lost her tail... she didn't have any problems walking... are you sure about that fact, Milo? cuz what about manxes?

 

Did it lose all of it's tail? Also, Manxes grow up without a tail so it makes no difference.

If a cat loses the whole tail then it has to re-adjust it's sense of balance. You will notice that for a couple of months they are unsteady when doing things like jumping onto fence posts etc. that require precise balncing.

whadduya know, ferret, you're not Milo. how 'bout that. in any case, yeah, she lost the whole tail. and there was no loss of balance, or anything. she was fine. other than her tail falling off, of course.

I know a way to hurt a cat (don't worry I didn't do that, just a friend told me).

Get a male cat. Go to some multistorey-building. Tie up the cats testicles with some rope and tie the other end on some door handle. Then put the poor cat in a lift press a button to some other floor and see/hear the poor kitten becoming maless you pervert!

 

How many human males has that happened too do you think? I know at least one... :evil:

That's one of the stupidest things I've ever read. You can remove baby teeth that way, not balls.
