How do I set the respawning rules in multiplayer and how do I save. I'm kind of confused about how cooperative play in MP is supposed to work. Thanks, -KR
the only way to respawn in multiplayer is to get someone to ressurect you. I guess your playing Vormantown, what you have to do is group up in a party and try to do the dwarf and elf quests. it's quite bad
This was posted somewhere else just recently - on DoA I think... Anyway, a summary: In multiplayer, when you die you have to be ressurected. Otherwise the only way to respawn is to start the module from fresh. this keeps all of your experience (levels, spells, skills, and schematics etc.) but you lose your inventory and quest info. However, you start the game each time with equipment based upon your level and if you have any tech disciplines learned then you start with one of every item at the highest point in each discipline (ie. if you maxed out gunsmithy, you would start with an elephant gun). Also, I think learned schematics are taken into account and you either start out with those items, or some of the things neccessary to make them (not too sure on that point though). In multiplayer, there is no waqy of 'saving', as such, but every time you quit, you can save your character experience info.
if you have any learned schematics you start with them in you learned schem list (don't need to buy/find them again) if you have melee, bow, throwing, backstab, picklock, firearms you start with an item for that skill (i.e. a dagger) It's impossible to save your quest position on multiplayer.
