    imo doc roberts should thank you for killing that rat, well that is if its not his pet or something...

    well in the beta, i'm not sure if you could call that room the doc's. one room with one door, and the door didn't lead into doc's room, but out on the road, er lawn.

    I am pretty sure that it is part of his house. When he comes out and starts killing Virgil while I am in the room, I get the hint.

    This is what happened when I broke in to the storage behind Doc's:
    I picked the lock, NP. I went over to the barrel and got the capacitor. At that point, the rat attacked Virg. As soon as I stepped in to help Virg out, Doc went aggressive and leapt out his window to come kill us.
    Reload.
    This time, when the rat attacked Virg, I let Virgil handle it himself. Doc didn't get upset, and I got the Capacitor.
    It was odd. I doubt that's the way it's supposed to work, but that's what happened.

    And I, too have heard of others finding a Capacitor as a random item in the mine.

    You will be happy to know that Leon said the rat is no longer Doc's buddy. So in the final build killing the rat will not piss off the Doc. :wink:
