The God Ending

One of the endings for playing an Evil Character somehow seems....off. I agree to join Kerghan, and then I change my mind, deciding that I'd rather become a God instead. He asks me what kind of God, and I say a dark one...and so we fight.

And me, my dog, and Torian Kel kick his ass. I use the Big Void Sword to kill him in his bubble.

Kerghan is dead...cut to end movies.

But all I get is a message saying that I joined with Kerghan and we killed everyone in Arcanum....than Kerghan and me fought and I just bearly won. The voice tells me that I'm sitting in the ruins all alone.

Huh? Did I miss something? How can I join with Kerghan if he's dead? Is this a bug?

I remember hearing rumors of a "God Ending", and looking at the dialoge options I chose, I would have thought I'd have found it?

Has anyone got one of the God endings?

If so, how does anyone know how to become a God?

how did you fight kerghan with Torian Kel, he joins Kerghan if you decide to fight him.

 

I did that too. I just convinced Kergan that he was wrong (greatest way to lead in the ending) and then Torien Kel also helped me. And IIRC if you say you're killing him (Kergan) before all the chatter, Torien Kel will also help you.

 

I know, Torian will join Kerghan if you don't join him....

But what I did was say I was going to join him...and then change my mind, telling him I'm going to be a god instead.

It seems if you join Kerghan, then turn on him, Torian will stay loyal to you. Maybe it's a bug.

I know that if you say your going to join Kerghan, Tallond-Ashe will attack you. He admires Kerghan but doesn't want the World destroyed.

That's why I left Tallond-Ashe behind in the last room before I went in. He's only marginally usefull in combat anyway.

Did you download the patch??? (don't know if that matters but what the heck)

 

I dont know, but I was playing a good character, so that could have something to do with it

 

I don't know... but it could just be that your followers are still pissed at you for even suggesting the option :wink:

Hey, by the way, where DO you find the Void Sword? I swearched the Void twice but couldnt find it! Please help!

 

Ig you're talking about Kryygyrd's falchion then it's down some steps on the left side of the screen on one of the floating platforms you get to using the ring of teleporters. (ie. like the ones that the bane of kree, gorgoth etc. are on).
