Hi, I have recently started playing Arcarnum and am very impressed with the game. I was thinking of creating a TC (Total Conversion), and was wondering if it is possible to modify the gameplay system? I am thinking of things like a class based system, different magic system, and modifying the experience points system.

I have read the edit docs, and did not find anything related to modifying gameplay, just how to add quests, items etc.

    Thanks, Jeff

You can (I'm pretty sure) change the number of XP required to reach the next level. Uhhh.... In terms of actually making a TC? I don't think it'd be easy. A few people have mucked around with the magic system, but only in terms of changing the effect and power of spells. If you're talking aout changing the systemm then I'd think you'd need the Arcanum Source Code

Yeah, a lot of the game rules are hardcoded in.
Also, someone would need to release an art editor for this idea to really take off.

    *hint hint*

    One question . . .

If you were so impressed with the game why do want to make such fundemental changes to the game?
