I've solved this thing a bunch of times, but I can't seem to get Gorgoth to join. I've brought bread and water. Is there some other food I was supposed to bring?
I was never able to recruit him myself. However, there are some enemies in the Void that when you kill them, there is a "food" item in their loot. When I talked to Gorgoth with some of those "food," the dialog choices changes and it seems that he is going to join me, but he did not join me when the dialog ends and he said something about eating Arronax. May be you can only recruit him to kill Arronax.
No, I had him join me once when I had Arronax with me but I got tired of lugging around meat to feed him so I booted him from the group and killed him.
