Too small? No? Too big? No? Too weird? Yes?

Armour I find in this game with my half-orc and human charectors won't fit and I don't mean Large leather and such but I mean *normal* dark barbarian clothes and elven mail I get in the backround gains and then I got the dark barbarian from a bunch of orc raiders and dawm thing still would'nt fit + rustic wear I got from the priest killers. Has anyone else had these problems?

 

The art for those items were left out. They were not supposed to be in there, but the demo was thrown together too quickly. The final game will allow you to use better armor.

 

There are alot of missing sprites so the game won't let you wear it

its because they rushed the demo (which is ok cuz they didn't rush the game) and in taking stuff out they took things they shouldn't have and then left things they should have

 

is it that hard to either put some code in they already have or take some code out they already have. I remember this rush crap rush stuff back at black Isle. Black Isle officially won most bugged game of the year 3! TIMES. I don't want this $#!= again!

When Troika tested the demo, they didn't take into account Windows?? ability to go a-hunting for missing files in other parts of the directory. The resourceful little OS managed to find the art files to the full game in an area other than the demo folder. As a result, Troika believed they had a cleaner demo than they in fact did.

A silly little mistake, but not really stupid or careless.

 

And one that doesn't really matter either, because they did a good job with the full

If arcanums is only 10% better then the demo, then it'll kick ass all the way.

Just joking but anyway I don't think I'll like it as much if it's bugged up to hell and back (or maybe just to hell)

 

No no dont get the wrong idea, i love Arcanum and I cant wait till the full game comes out but ive learned not to have to high expectations (thinks back to black and white <sigh>).

 

I know what you mean Tel'ral. I spent month on the black & white board and read and posted comments. The game promised so much and I myself was a little disapointed. The game is still good, and they fullfilled most of their promises. The differnce with Arcanum and B&W is that there is a demo of Arcanum. This gives us a small idea what the game is about. I can only speak for my self, but the thing that I want most from this game is the editor. I will probably play the game a few quests and so, then move on to the editor.

In conclusion. Arcanum will be so much better then B&W. It is not even the same genre, but still. The freedom they said you would have in B&W can be found in Arcanum.
