After Half Ogre Island i gave the journal i've found there to tarantian office but a bastard stole it so.........there is a way to stop the damn gnomes????????

No there is no way anyone has found. I think that quest is just there to waste your time.

 

It's called the X-Files quest for a reason. Did Skully and Mulder ever really solve the case?

 

i couldn't even find the journal when i went to the island... but i might not have been paying attention...

 

It's in a container in the research facility.

Actually, I think it's in the safe near the box.

 

I always kill the gnome you find when you get back to caladan. It doesn't alter the plot any, but I get personal satisfaction from it.

 

Me too! Kill them all! Damned gnomes should't exist anyway! Freaks of nature!

 

I killed the gnome and then gave the journal to the paper. Then the quest was completed. I hope there is not more to the darn thing. I'm tired of chasing skulls and gnomes and such

 

Welcome to the forum!!! Yes, that is all to the quest, but nobody has ever found the way to complete the quest though.

 

That's because there really is no end to the quest. Give the journal to the false reporter and that's it. Done. End of Story. Finished. All she wrote. The END.
