Ok, can anyone suggest a game to play while I'm waiting for the release of Arcanum? I was thinking about Black&White or maybe another game. I am playing Tribes 2 and the demo to pass the time but those are getting boring.

I heard it was really good, but I didn't believe the person who told me.

It's actually really good if you like games which suck.

I take it you don’t even consider expansions for Baldur’s Gate or Diablo.

Black & White sux. The people I know waited so long to say it was bad. The interface is shit and you CAN'T do everything you want. The creature is a little annoying bastard and it takes ages until he is any use at all! + the miracles, storyline and those little annoying little voices are so annoying (I'm talking about the ones in the game not in my head.) and the best feature of the game was you could chose whether to let the little boy at the start live or die was not your choice but it autamatically happens!

I have to go with Amos on the Black and White thing. It's tedious at best. There's just way too much micromanagement in the game.

I'm sure that once you get your creature trained, it gets better, but it just takes way too long to get it trained.

Then why does every review site give B&W like a 99.9/100. Then agian most of these sites gave diablo 2 a 80/100 so they could be off. Mostly due to the fact diablo2 deserved a 50/100 if not lower. Also could i get responses from ppl who played it. This he said, she said, is kinda annoying.

As for the expansions for bg and d coming out...

I rather not get the Diablo2 expansion. Mostly because Diablo 2 was crack on a disc for me. How many hours did i waste just mindlessly clicking. Only after I rejected it do i realize how much it truely suxed.

For the BG2 expansion I would have not idea about it or BG2 but its not off my list.

I always just let my creature rampage around and eventually it learned how to take care of itself, ok so it did that by eating villagers but I didn't care about that. But it's indeed disappointing that you start out as a good guy, oh well evil is easy to get too if you do it properly

I couldn't care less whether I'd have fun playing the game over again. I've never played a game over again, because I can't get myself to choose a different character, a different path or whatever. I do just the same things, and doing stuff over doesn't equal fun in my book. Or stack of sheets, as it were.

    Silly me.

Let me tell you something from the prospective of person who likes BG.

Right now I’m playing Throne of Bhall (well I mean when I get home  ) and I really like it. The monster are tougher but not unbeatable, new areas to explore, extremely high level cup (and you really have to use a lot of magic). BUT no matter how much I love this game let’s face it, it is linear, so after playing 5 or 6 times it will get boring. Still I would recommend buying it.

On another topic that there is a possibility to download Arcanum from Internet. It is tempting, but fortunately I have lots to do so maybe I will resist.

    Hmmmm...

I don't think I'll ever download arcanum off the internet. I'd rather dust off my copy of d2 and dig into that!

Yea! It is a classic and very cheap to get, if you for some strange reason don´t have it.
