How to get quest Negotiations between Caladon and Tarant

Hello. Could you tell me what are requirements for getting this quest, I can have Beauty 19, Charisma 16 and Expert Persuasion, but Willoughsby still says that it is not enough. I'd really like to get this quest, because I assume it will influence the end game movie for Caladon and Tarant.

 

I believe that you have to have at least an 18 CHA and have at least 4 points in Persuasion (it could be 5) and be an Expert. It is the Persuasion Master Quest after all.

 

when i did it i had 20 ch, 5 pts pers, and expert training...

 

High Intelligence, maxed-out Charisma and Persuasion. INT should be VERY high.

 

actually, int isn't a req, cuz i did it with int 7...

 

It's the persuasion quest at Ashbury that requires ntelligence.

 

I know that if you mess the Ashbury quest up you can't get it, but I did manage to get it without even doing the Ashbury quest....

 

i'm still waiting for my int to go up so i can do the ashbury quest...

 

You could use an intelligence potion. If you're quick about picking the dialogue options, the boost will last long enough to complete it.

 

I misspoke. I meant you'll need a high INT to optimally complete the Persuasion Master Quest.

 

also not true. i got the master training with my little ol' int of 7... but i did have a char of 20, so that might have helped...

 

Plus, you'll need to have a Quality Axe equipped. No other weapon will do. :smile:rosenshyne, do have some sort of patch on your game? I always had to have a very high INT to get full value out of the Master Quest.

 

just the 1074 patch... maybe i'm just special...

 

Maybe... But I run an unpatched game. Perhaps that's the difference in our experiences with the game.

 

So how well did your negotiations go??? My best so far ended with me pocketing 7000 from Mr. willowsb... Anybody got higher than that????

 

Thank you for lots of replies, but I'm already lvl. 50 and Charisma 16 and Persuasion Expert is the highest I can get. Is there some way of raising these abilities? (I'm already wearing the Ring of Influence)
