Air elemental - good or bad?

I'm asking you this 'cos i don't wanna spend 4 points just to see body of aif spell.Now,is that spell good or not.Somebody told that when you're in thet shape nobody can hurt you with weapons/arrows.But is it good to spend 4 points?

 

In my experiance, the air elemental is not really worth it. Whether you call one or turn someone into it, it's really just a fancy decoy. They're hard to kill, but they have no offense. Plus, if you turn yourself into an A.E., you drop all your stuff, which will be folly for your wandering NCPs after the fight is over. I would reccommend fire or earth, even though they die faster. Also, do other "Body of" spells make you drop your equipment? I can't remember.

 

No, they don't make you drop your stuff. Body of air raises damage resistance, makes you float increasing your chance to avoid traps, and raises your speed by 10.
