Gypsy Curse

Strange. After I killed the gypsy and took the crystal ball back, I just yelled at her because I was cursed, then left. I went to the inn and slept for a night, and when I woke up I was fine except for my charisma which had gone up 1 or 2 points, so I had to replace those points later.

 

Actually Madame T doesn't need the crystal ball anymore... you can sell the ball to the junk dealer near the ports.

 

What does the curse actually do?

 

The Gypsy Blood curse, which you get for killing madame toussande, takes away 2 points of charisma. Not desirable for any but troll offspring and those raised by orcs, and I would even question why they would want it. Then again, they probably wouldn't understand what charisma is in the first place...

Also, as I am sure you can find out, doing the quest the "right" or at least most beneficial way gets you +1 charisma with the Gypsy blessing.
