I beat the game couple of days ago and now I'm playing again. My previous character finished the game with level 39(ultra low)but now the situation is a bit different:I'm going to BMC with level 22!! Is this too OK??
I mean,I have 1/4 of game ahead and I'm almost level 23! After BMC I'll be 25 and in my opinion, when I reach Caladon for the first time I'll be lvl.50!
Tell me this, so that I can compare:
---which level were you while going to BMC
---which level were you while leaving Shrouded Hills(after blimp crash)

I was almost level 30 at the BMC mine, and i was about level 10 after leaving Shrouded Hills. Your level should be sufficient in the BMC mines because I breezed through them.

if you want to restrict you lvl advancements try getting your followers to do all the fighting, you get less exp when they do the killing.

I think I've left shrouded hills at a high of lvl 12 and a low of lvl 5. Entered the BMC at a low of lvl 10 and a high of lvl 26. It all depends on you. Do you hit the side quests or just keep trucking down the main one. My first character was an elf who sold his soul and really didn't give a crap about followers (with so few accepting an evil character in the early game) and so I was concentrating on leveling up by doing every quest I could find and then some. By contrast, my good half-elf alter ego first entered the BMC at lvl 10. Why the difference? I was trying to get along the story line a little quicker so I could collect my ideal group of followers. If I can time it right, each and every one of them will be the same level as me.

The point is, do what you wanna do. There is no right or wrong level to enter or leave a place unless your so weak you'll get yourself killed. And if you hit lvl 50 at Caladon, so be it! If you don't hit it until the Void, so be it as well! It really doesn't matter just play to make yourself happy. M'kay?

True. It really depends on what type of character you play, what you invest CP in, and at hat speed you want to advance in the main quest.

The games I finished so far I had some troubles reaching level 50 at all (In my first game I never even reached it; experience gets rather rare near the end in the main world). Once you enter the void there's plenty of it again, but then again, not much use anymore.

I usually go running around on the world map or go on a killing rampage when i get people angry. I also do all the quests i can get. I usually never have a problem gaining XP.

I used the mod that lets you get up to lv127 and I'm up to almost 53 or 54 and still have only done maybe 90% of the quests before going to the void. I also teleport everywhere, so I'm not getting random fights for exp.

If you want to slow level advancement , increase the difficulty .

Yeah, you can do that. I suppose though that the people who complain about leveling up too quick would have already figured that out but you never know how many people could be saying right now "Is this all that's left!?!" Not me though. With my large sized party and approach to the game I usually wind up near level max out right as the game is winding down.
