I just want to make sure we are on the same page here. Let's say I dump Virgil on the beginning of the game, and when I reach level 50 I'll came back for him. Now because I can't level any more does that means Virgil will stay level one for rest of his life?
To take advantage of this crappy system you could only party with Virgil when your about to lvl and dump him agian after you lvl. Also if your lvl 50 why would you want Virgil? HEHE. I hope they change this in the final version, but for awhile virgil would lvl faster then i would. I was around lvl 18 or so when my melee/summoning elf surpased virgil in fighting.
Oh, yeah... It's probably so that every follower you meat later in the game would be roughly the same level as you are. Then, in the end, everybody will have reached lvl 50.
