Are there really cross discipline schems?
In the demo all found schems seem to correspond to a single discipline. What tab would you put a X-dis one under?

    Yes, there are.

The demo is only a very little bit of the game. In all there are over one hundred schematics. More than half in the game are 'found'. Of those expect to be proficient in multiple disciplines to use a good share. The intended limits of the demo wouldn't allow a character to get to a very high level so a few 'found' schematics were in to give a taste. I think one of those is impossible to build if you stay within the intended parameters of the demo but it can still be purchased. Troika has confirmed such goodies as a Tesla Rifle which is likely a high-end Elec/Gun combo.

Good example, Aldin. The charged sword needs smithy (build a balanced sword) & electricity.

    Kozmo,

it's a little big, yeah. It'd be nice if you could make it a bit smaller, so it technically fits within our forum rules.

What is the interface for cross disc schems like. For example, will a charged sword be found under smithy, electricity, both or will a new cross discipline tab appear?
Also since the number next to each item used to construct the new one seems to be the skill level necessary to combine this item how will it indicate the different disciplines needed, ie like color, d name etc.

that might be tricky as some races start out 200 years old, while humans start out at 20 or so :)

In the beta there's a button for found schematics. Cross-discipline schematics appear under the discipline with the highest level (under "found schematics", of course.)
There's a little symbol for each discipline, and it's shown on the schematic.

After couple of months in the Hills I bought it from wise women (she had three of them). At that time I was level 12 or so.
