Flying Newspapers

Ok, this is just NOT normal. I threw a newspaper at a man just for fun. He turned and it missed. I thought "Oh damn, well ill go get it and try again". I go across the street and its not there. I run down the street and I see it flying down the middle of the street. I step infront of it and it just keeps going at a leasuirly pace. I cant stop it. I went back 4 game years later and its still floating around. Do I need a debugging or an exorsicst

 

How the heck did you throw a newspaper? (I'm new to this board but am almost finished with the game and I didn't know you could do that - sorry if it's been covered already.)

 

That's pretty funny!--I have thrown useless junk at things I wanted Virgil to pummel with his fist (so I don't damage weapons), but I've never thrown a newspaper at a person. Gonna try it though!

 

You can throw anything you can pickup. Drag it to the little Circle Window in your inventory screen then let go and click what you want to throw it at. CAUTION: Throwing things at people will PO them and they will attack you.

 

It was like the newspaper was an NPC, just slowly gliding along the middle of the street, couldnt stop it, couldnt blow it up, couldnt pick it up.

 

you need an esorcist[i need a old priest and a young priest :monkey:]

 

It's a similar bug to the one where your summoned creatures rush out on an enemy, completely miss him and end up in a limbo, still occupying a int spot, but nowhere to be sighted and not recoverable. :sad:

Hey , why doesn't nitroglycerine explode when you throw it ?

**Shrug** I dunno, its like why doesnt a grenade explode when you throw it. Have grenade in your inventory and drag it up to the little circle window and throw it, it wont go off
