What the hell....

Why do I get a rusty blade and the rank of "untrained" as my icon???? I wanna be a master or lord.

And it´s not a rusty blade, it´s a railroad spike!! You get the blade later on.

I thought it was a blade too... I thought the word "untrained" was bad enough... but now... a railroad spike? Not even a blade?

I've finished Arcanum 5 times already, and am going on my sixth game as an evil dark elf! Railroad spike, for me?!!!!
