Well, I've got INT 20, BEAU 20, CHA 20, PER 20 and all of the such and tried almost every combination in the dialogue with Kerghan. So... how do I convience Kerghan that I'm right and his wrong? I mean I always seem to get the dialogue with him telling my character that life is not meant to be, and my character only has the options to eitehr fight him, join him or ask him some questions. So... Anyone mind telling me the right combination? :grin:
But I've read you can actually convience him to let you use the device on him without giving a fight.
Well! I just finished Arcanum! I managed to convince him at the end! :grin: Anyway, how come the end doesn't tell me what has happend to my character? And other things that must have happend after I finished my quest? And why does it come immidiately? Ohh well, I'm looking forward to play user-made modules now :smile:
This is what I did: I've chosen the dialogue option which makes him tell you what has happend, and then his story&animation. Then I tried to convince him he was wrong, I chose the prophecy is a drive, then that my opinion does not destroy creation. Then I chose that his offer is tempting or something, then I told Arronax that I'm tricking him, then I started telling him that his opinion derives from generalization and that that he took his opinion from what he has seen, and you've seen other spirits which don't live in pain. Those who do live like that because they held too tight or something... And this is how it went, until he admitted he was arrogant and wrong... Then the device animation kicked in :smile: And then the end-animation.
