Well, first off I was wondering if any of the folks from Troika read these forums, and secondly I was wondering if anyone knew of any further updates to WorldEd. With a handful of decent-sized adjustments people could make mods at crack-like speeds ... just a thought.

    WorldEd . . . .

I curse it one minute and thank Buddah for it the next. I would really, really, really, really like to be able to copy and paste. But then again, without WorldEd I wouldn't have the chance to make a module at all.

My guess is there will only be a newer version of WorldEd is one of the following things happens:

    1. An expansion pack to Arcanum is release and a new WorldEd comes with it.
    2. Arcanum 2 is released.

WorldEd certainly has it short comings, but with WorldEd this is furthest I've personally ever made it on a mod. I've got stacks of mod related printouts (Quake C source, Duke Nukem 3d Build instructions, Unreal Ed Tutorials, Deus Ex scripts, etc.) that never amounted to anything.

On a nearly topic related note: To increase your mod making speed:
    • Read AMTUT
    • send email Dark Underlord thanking him for tutorial
    • Get Zammy's Dialog Editor
    • Send email thanking Zammy for dialog editor
    • Get DJ Unique's ScriptEd
    • Send email thanking DJ Unique for ScriptEd

OK, send the emails doesn't speed up your mod making, but it's the right thing to do
