Went there a while ago to check things out. I saw several users including me with a tag after our user name: _needs_ign_merge$$$ Here's an example: http://vnboards.ign.com/message.asp?top ... t=19482235 How do I solve this problem. I tried going to http://vnboards.ign.com/misc/vn_ign_con ... ion=logoff but it keeps giving me errors whenever I tried to logign or convert my username.
All I did was entered my username and password in the new boxes and then entered the same id and password in the old boxes. If that don't work then try either using vn_friend_al_23 in the first box and your old name (friend_al_23) or use the vn_friend_al_23 in both boxes. I will say some people have had terrible problems with this feature yet many have had no problems at all. If all else fails go to the inn or this board http://vnboards.ign.com/board.asp?brd=5335 and see if someone that has had problems has either posted a question on how to fix it or post your own question.
