vendigrith ruins - god quest

i've done all the gods in order as per the guide but i still die without getting the mega bless when i step on the altar in the vendigroth ruins. any suggestions why this keeps happening??

 

That's part of the deal. You "give your life" to that diety, so you need a follower to resurrect you with spell, scroll, or elixer, then a quick check should show a dramatic boost to your vitals.

virgil kept trying to bring me back but i have a high tech rating. so i'll use an elixir instead. what would work? something from vendigrith technology??

 

First time I played a mage, no problem. Next I played a tech and Virgil couldn't resurrect me anymore. Then I started loading up on a few of those elixers. Just make sure not to have res scrolls on him too, as he will use the scrolls first.

I buy them at the healing shops. They all carry them; but you may need to camp and advance a few days before one is for sale. Quite expensive and heavy (300 weight) though. I forget the precise name. Small clear bottle that looks like the perfume atomizer grandmother had.
