I think I know what he was doing wrong. Either he did not have the expanded experience point table or he had it in the wrong folder. I tried leveling to 51 without the expanded table, and Arcanum crashed to the desktop.

 

That's why I talked to you the other day about that Calis. We could put both downloads in the same category, or modify the descriptions of these 2 items making it absolutly clear, one doesn't work without the other.

 

Problem

I was very interested by the patch but when I installed it, it didn't work ("wrong disc error").
I think that it can be because I have a French version and the .exe is for English version.
What can I do?

 

If you save the file in I.E.

You have to remember to remove .html from the end, because it saves it as an .html file.

 

I'm not sure if the French version would be the same as the English version. It might, because the original hack from Lebon bT was from the German version and that worked on the English version with the only difference being the offsets in the files. You could easily find this out if you know how to hex edit the file, it's really not that hard. Just follow the instructions in the first post in this topic.

As Duncann (hum... no, Lord Duncann the God of Arcanum, it's better) suggested, I try to hex my file myself with his Sacred Text and Miracle ! It's work ! (to be exact, the game haven't crash).
