HELP!!!!!!!

HELP! I can't get the save game editor to work, and I really want it to! I'm not too computer savvy, I could use all the help you could give me, gratefully.

You could be more specific, gives us what exact errors you get and so on. What version of the game.

 

Hrumph..... okies then!

I didn't know that there were different versions of arcanu. Uh. I dont' know which one I have.
Okay. The version of the saved game editor is vrs. 1.8.
Now, when I click on the little icon to open it, I get this error message:
You need the following file to be installed on your machine: MSSTDFMT.DLL.
Now, I don't have winzip YET, but I can still extract the files. *this is on a totally new computer of mine* I just dont' know what's wrong with it.

DLL's

You probably need some of the runtime libraries frome microsoft. Check the microsoft website for the files and install them in your windows/system directory.

 

Readme

There should also be a readme w/ the editor telling you where to get the needed files.

 

The best advice I can give you is go to the trouble shooting section in the Official Arcanum page.
