So there I was in Blackroot, trying to off some thieves and this little halfling wizard type tells me that I need to see his brother before I talk to him. So I do and I answer a bunch of decent riddles and he gives me a "mysterious gem". That's what it says, right in my inventory, and he tells me to use it only in the greatest need. So the question is -- how does one use it, or does it actually do anything?
Simply drag it over the picture of a hand in your inventory. And yes, it summons a level 50(?) halfling to fight at your side for a bit. One use only though I think.
Thank you My main reason for asking was that it didn't have any of the "magic glow" or "tech symbol".
Yeah. Well the trick is just save the game then mess around to find out what stuff does. That's how I did it! :grin:
I tried using the gem one time in the wolf cave, and the little gnome turned on me and killed all my party and me after wiping out the monsters. It was werid, so I never used it again.
