Thank you very much ! That's the second time I play arcanum and I wanted to be master of persuasion before talking with the dwarf's king. Well I hope I will manage to get him back with only a lot of charisma and the best level of persuasion I can have. :razz:
Feld how high should your int. be to get loggy to rejoin? and is int. more important than charisma and persuasion in this case?
int. is important to get to know about the stone and shape, you need to show the "king in waiting" you are capable to understand it. So that requires high int, just so he can tell you. While talking to Log. You need high int. For the option to tell him that. And after you do so, charisma will decide whether to listen or not. Charisma decides how, persuasive you are. So you can "know it all" but he won't join you. However you can be very persuasive but lack any arguments to back you up. So in this case, persuasion/cha is as important as int. However, you can drink a intellect potion which is very common, and only worry about your cha/persuasion.
......... Warning, possible spoiler I seem to have no problems with 13 INT and 18 charisma, which enables you to get him if you have a full bar. He'll send you to negotiate in Caladon, and give you a dossier. Study it. Then go in and talk to the Caladon Kings advisors. If you do it RIGHT, he'll train you to become a Master Orator, and your rep will rise a lot. Then go see the king of Dernholm, who will give you a new quest, and the mayor of ashbury, to help them build their monument.......
