i've got to the bit in the game where you have to find teach a ship to get to that southern island i paid for a bloody ship first but still teach sits in his bar and says "i hope you find a ship" then i go and complete the stingy pete quests and he still hasn't moved to either boats and i can't really talk to him cos i don't get a dialogue i just get a float is this a bug or am i being stupid p.s does anyone know where i can get a mega powerfull magickal sword the best i've got sofar is arcane great sword
You are the Captain on Stringy Pete's boat. And, unless you want to use the Scourge, The Arcane Great Sword is the most powerful Magickal sword I use before the end-game.
That's the way it is for the rest of us too. Another line or two of dialogue after we either buy a ship or get Pete's would have been nice; but..... If you win back Captain Teach's boat for him, he will probably appear once again on it's decks, ready to take you to Thanatos. I wouldn't know for certain since I have never devoted skill points on gambling. Yah, it is a sweet weapon and just right to address the baddies in the void. Too much stick for the mortal realms. [ This Message was edited by: Odi on 2001-12-23 14:58 ]
thanx guys cheers for that just one problem i have no clue how to find the gambler that teach lost the ship to (i wasn't listening cos i thought the other two sounded easier) anyone know where he is or his name?
Ringlord, that is SOO informative. Unless you are aiming for the spam award, I suggest you put at least a little bit of consideration and thought in your posting. Or just refrain yourself from producing more useless posts.
LOL, he's in the very same inn Teach is. He's standing there with two Half-Ogres guards IIRC. Unfortunately you can't use a fate point to win th e ship back so you have to be a really good Gambler.
hehe doh!! Hmmm feeling reeaally dumb right about here! thanx for the info you would not believe the remote locations i have been looking for him i quized EVERYBODY in dernholm tarant blackroot and ashbury!
