    Sorry for not searching the database, but ain't really got time 4 it.
    My friend has downloaded cap remover from terra arcanum, and after installing it his PC advanced to 100 level immediately. His Arcanum version is patched, AFAIR. Can anyone tell me what's wrong and if it can be repaired? Thanx in advance.

    Did he install both the cap remover (the exe file) and the new experience table? (a .mes file, if I'm not mistaken)

    Which patch do you use? It doesn't work with 1074. 1070 is the only version it works with.

    Perhaps that's the reason, translation modifies the game somewhat, Polish arcanum.exe might be different thus this might cause problems. Maybe you should try it on English 1070 version without installing the Polish CD.

    dragon --> I dont't think so. Polish version is one of the best I've ever seen, It doesn't change anything except text files, so You got an engilsh version with polish subtitles.

    BTW.: this time I've searched the database and I found nothing.

    Someone said something about a .mes file AFAIR, is it really necessary? AFAIR it changes xp table, am I right? 'coz if I am, it means that sliwa except .exe needs that .mes... I'll tell him that, but if anyone of you can be even more helpful, we would be happy.

    .mes files are the games information files. So yeah, I'd say that they are kinda necessary...
