But does it like, decrease my "good" side of me? Like, I help people out and stuff, but I always steal from everyone....


but I'm filthy rich! I've got 15,000 (thousand) coins! And I sold the camera to Rezzmerzess a dozen times until he was broke... and I stole almost all the money from every store I've been in so far.

Yet, they still like me! I "fail" every once in a while, but nothing ever changes...

is that ok? can I still be a good guy and be a kalepto? (or however you spell it!)

Pickpocketing hardly changes your alignment at all.
And I'll agree it's a handy skill, but it won't do you any good in a fight.
(Unless you manage to steal an enemy's weapons before battle.)

could i steal people's clothes right off their bodies?

You'll need Master Skill and plenty of luck. You might even need to use a Fate point depending on their level, but you can steal their clothes and their weapons right out of their hands.

The little green button at the top of the screen. You gain Fate Points after performing certain actions or completing certain Quests. Fate Points can influence your success when attempting actions (like Pickpocketing).

 

Well this is my opinion, you say that pickpocket is the best skill because your able to steal and sell back without your alignment changing right? Its all about the money to you. Well you can just go to Tarant, then to Madam Lil's except her quest to collect the 400 gold coins from the guy outside the inn(i think). Talk to him and wait 5 days come back and collect the money, don't go back to Madam lil's anymore and whenever you talk to the guy ask for the coins and he will pay you. You can get way more than 15,000 and faster without the risk of failing and your alignment stays the same. But if you already did this quest and talked to Madam lil, stick with your stealing.

 

Nah. Pickpocket is useless. Unlock Cantrip a shopkeeper's chest and you get like 3000 or more money each day!

 

Prowl's better. Then you can shoot the shopkeeper in the head, and he won't know who's doing it.

True you'll probably kill him that way, but all in all, it's worth it.

 

Then just resurrect him and shoot him again!
True, you'll lose money on RES scrolls, and you won't get any more money from the shopkeep, but what the Hell.
