Some Stuff Id Like To Know

1. How do you get into the Stone Clan Secret Entrance
2.Im in Vendigroth, ive searched the entire city thourougly, and I cant find out anything, what do I do now.
3.I have a low lvl dwarf C in Shrouded hills, ive never played a tech C b4 and he keeps gettin killed when I go to kill Lukan, there isnt really any place to lvl up, any sugestions?????

 

1. You need special glasses
2. Did you use the vents? The divice is lying around somewhere on the lowest level I think.
3. Don't go about and kill Lukan yet .

 

Are you talking about the Secret Entrance to the Iron Clan, YeaYea? That's a good-sized Quest, actually. I know there are extensive threads on it. Try a search, and if that doesn't help, I'll walk you through it. :smile:

 

Yeah the Iron Clan is what I ment, dont you need that glass key or whatever??? And I cant find anywhere to lvl up so I can kill Lukan, and I dont have 1000 coin to pay him

 

Did you already do the Bessie Toone mine? And help out the Doc in thwarting the bank robbery? If so, you can still wander around the outskirts of the town (wilderness) and encounter some wolves.
If you can get just one CP, go ahead and put it into Persuasion. Then get apprentice skill from one of the shopkeepers. That should let you talk your way out of Shrouded Hills.

 

Lukan the witless

From what i experienced and read somewhere,to kil Lukan,u will need stun and explosive grenade.U should persuade Lukan to leave 1st(dat gives u 1 fate point)but immediatelt throw stun grenades den the explosive grenades at his .5 ogre guard.dat should do the job.I would not recomend using dynamite since i feel dat it is quite a waste...

 

u can always do some dirty jobs for lukan

 

if I can give an advice I think that "cocktail molotovs"(first level of explosives) are very useful in the game and it helps me a lot to kill lucan.

How do you get the Known Schematics like Auto Skeleton Key and stuff like that, dyou put points into your INT or does your Tech Apt. have to be high??

 

The is a basic required intelligence for all the learned schematics. I believe the Auto-skeleton Key requires 11 IN.

I believe tech aptitude works in exactly the opposite way; you increase it by furthering your knowledge of the disciplines (by learning schematics) rather than needing it to be at a certain level to learn them.

If that explanation is clear enough for you, I'm not surprised.

 

Ok, about my low lvl dwarf, I am at lvl 7 now, with Studded Leather armor, Aprentice in Melee and Dodge, and my party ALWYAS gets thier asses kicked. Ive cleaned out EVERYWHERE I can, there is NO PLACE to level up

 

Then I guess you'll have to destroy the bridge materials for Lukan.

 

He wont give me the quest

You could just go ahead and destroy them. Then see what Lukan says. The people of Shrouded Hills won't like you much, though.

 

Get Molotov Cocktail. If you can't get anymore XP, re-load an old game, level back up to level 7, and make sure you learn molotov and put 1 point into throw. (If you don't have a point for throw, you can still beat Lukan, but it may take a few tries, so save your game before the battle. You can find unlimited rags in trash bins. All you'll need is enough money to buy fuel. If you don't have money, sell some of your companions equipment. Molotovs kick ass in the early game, but you don't get much XP when you hit somebody with one. They sure can get you out of a pinch though.
