    I just did this complex and cleared it out. I found a gent in the basement who wants me to bring something back from a Dragon's Cave or some such. Will doing this adversly affect my alignment or in any other way bring about harm to my character?

    you can do this quest without fearing anything for your fame but it is more interessant to do this one if your are evil sided.voilà!
