I have enjoyed the time I have spent here with all of you. I am really quite sad to see that friend_al has not posted in what, weeks? a month? Also, where is Ioo? I really miss his sarcastic wit. You guys gotta admit it, he was funny. Milo hasn't posted much in the past few days....Jarinor and Jinxed are still here, thank goodness. I just have enjoyed getting to know all the older posters. (old as in been here a while, not physical age!) Ring lord and Feldon Kane seem to be some up and coming interesting posters. Well, I feel better now. I...I...love you guys.....(and girls)

Bryant, despite the fact you failed to thank me for my tight-arsed criticisng of people's grammar, I can sympathise.

Ioo was quite a laugh at times (before he went into overload and sniped on every thread), and things really aren't the same without Al. If only you'd known Quethim. You'd have loved that boy like a son.

Fatman, yes, I have heard a lot about the famous Quethim. Mostly how much Ioo picked on him.. Wish Q. was still around...

Oh, and I do apologize for leaving your name out. I am sure you are not the only person who's name I failed to mention. I have enjoyed reading your posts as well, fatman. (And oh, by the way, congrats on your upcoming marriage)

I see myself as an excited newbie in the midst of geniuses (spelling?). When you guys get into one of your long OT threads (Fatman's wonder diet, Facts about YOU, etc.)
I just watch and read, amazed....

Just wish al and Ioo would come back.......

    ARE YOU HITTING ON ME?!

Sir, you are neither my tailor, nor my proctologist! So stop that kind of talk!

And why do you miss friend_al and Ioo so much? Just imagine a total non-sequiter or a smiley face after every other post on the board, and maybe some genuine game advice and plugs for his site. There, now you have friend_al.

And Ioo never left, so no use missing him. Next time you get bashed for asking a simple question, Ioo is there. Whether it be actually him, him using an alias, or just him in spirit. Like Obi Wan Kenobi. Except meaner. And hairier. And shorter, with no teeth and a flat head so I can put my beer on top.

Milo, I suffer from a little thing called depression. Whenever anything, and I mean ANYTHING, in my world changes, it leaves with feelings of sadness, despair, anxiety, and even feelings of guilt (strange as it may sound). When I first began posting here, friend_al and Ioo were both here. Al giving kind advice to me and Ioo making fun of me.... I just became comfortable in my little ritual of shirking at my job, and posting here. Now, in my depressed mind, a little peice of terra-arcanum has departed... Hard to explain......
    Hard to take.....

I am being a LITTLE ludicrious, but not nowhere near as much as you think....

Oh, and why do you think I put jokes as my sig??? To be "accepted". To be thought of as funny.

Pathetic? Yes. Accepting it? Trying to. Suicidal? No.

Thank you. Your kind words mean more than you know.

I used to have a problem with depression as well. I have had close friends die among other things which did not help me either. Although this is corny also, you might try a journal of some sort. I had made one and restricted myself to writing down only good things that have happened (nothing negative). Depression seems to happen most often when you start getting down about something and it builds on itself, because all you think about are the negatives. When you have something to remind you of the good things it can turn itself around. Another thing to consider is you job/lifestyle. I was at a job I hated. It seems that a lot of people are depressed about one thing or another these days. If you hate your job talk to your boss(es) about it. I have no qualms anymore about speaking to someone above my boss if there's a problem. Frankly if it does happen to be a situation where you can do something about it DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Squish, do you ever feel like this:

Something small happens that wasn't your fault, or something that wasn't even bad, but guilt just overwhelms you? That is when I know I'm about to get bad off. Whenever my guilt takes over. I mean, it's like I'm walking around at work, and I get that burning butterflies-in-my-stomach feeling, and when I try to remember what I am feeling guilty about, I remember something stupid that happened. But that guilty anxious feeling just starts killing me, and soon, I'm upset over------nothing.....

There is one main thing that has happened to me in my life that only one person (a shrink) knows about. My wife doesn't even know about it. Something I did. I wish I could write it here, just to let it out.....But the shame, and guilt I am having a hard time with....
