My takeaway from this trailer: you will play as a dog, and have a vault-dweller companion.

 

That's actually an awesome idea for a game. Playing as a dog, or perhaps a cat, and so your only interaction with humans is that they say "Good boy" or throw things at you. No inventory or missions, your goal is to survive, and mark as much territory as possible by strategic peeing. Levelling up would increase your bladder size or urine potency.

Okay, so it's not totally similar, since that game is like an adventure mystery where the player character is a dog, whereas I was envisioning more of an open world survival game, possibly in a post-apocalyptic setting, where the player might be able to learn more about what caused the apocalypse by interpreting background information, but that would be incidental to the goals of the game.
