Have'nt played Arcanum in forever...questions.

Have'nt played Arcanum in forever and all of a sudden I have a hard on for the game. So last time I played the thing to do was install the basic official patch and the a WIP patch. Anything else I should know or install? I remember last time I tried running the fan made modules it crashed my whole game, none of them really worked when I played them. Any advice on the modules? BTW I am running windows 8 or 8.1.

I'm gonna play a Psionic type or someone with maximum persuasion or both. Get everybody to reveal every secret in the game!....yay

 

I already installed the official patch and a WIP6 correctly so I don't need advice on that, thanks. I read the WIP thread and installed it the way I was instructed.

 

Cool news, glad it worked out.

 

Honestly, outside of a WIP or Drog's patch I wouldn't recommend much else.
